He had lost both legs (blown off in World War II whilst serving in the Tank regiment of the British Army) and had been confined to his wheelchair for many years. (more)

Stones and tears that heal

We also found the stone for Australian Sr Irene McCormack, a friend of the Columban Sisters who was killed by “Shining Path” guerrillas in 1991. This brought the pain and suffering close once more. (more)
